Description
The K8 piston seal consists of a "Z" cut thermoplastic sealing ring and a rectangular elastomer energizing ring. Thanks to the rectangular elastomer, it provides a good seal even at low pressures. The "Z" cut ring provides an excellent seal without losing contact with the pipe surface at high and impact-like pressures. The ring can also operate in larger extrusion joints compared to PTFE material, and has high strength and wear resistance due to the fiberglass-filled thermoplastic material.
