This pressure relief valve features a seat design with a damping piston, ensuring high sealing integrity and preventing valve vibrations. Its design results in a flat control characteristic, meaning that the set opening pressure is largely maintained even with increasing flow rates. This is achieved by the effect of flow forces on the valve disk, which causes the valve to open further as the flow rate increases.
