EPF series replacement elements are designed for high-pressure in-line hydraulic oil filtration. Available in single or double-length configurations with ratings down to 2 microns, they help protect critical engine components—such as valves, bearings, cylinders, and pumps—from contaminants that can increase wear, shorten maintenance intervals, extend downtime, and drive up costs. These elements are suitable for systems operating in extremely demanding environments, including construction, oil & gas, agriculture, and mining.
The EPF series replacement elements feature a patented eco-friendly design that allows the bypass valve and element core to be integrated as reusable components within the filter housing. This reduces waste and disposal costs by up to 50%. The EPF series is ideal for incorporating filters into distribution systems without additional drilling to install a bypass valve.
Various filter media options are available to meet customers’ specific requirements, including microglass (QI), high-strength microglass (QIH), and reverse-flow microglass (QIR). Multiple filter housing sizes are also offered based on rated flow and connection type.
EPF series filter elements are compatible with a wide range of hydraulic fluids, including:
- Hydraulic mineral oils, class H HLPD (DIN 51524)
- Operating fluids (DIN ISO 2943)
- Lubricants (ISO 6743, APJ, DIN 51517, ACEA, ASTM)
- Vegetable oils
- 60/40 water-glycol mixtures
- Industrial-grade phosphate esters (on request)
- Non-aggressive synthetic oils
